Title: An Objective Framework for Location Based Assessment of Flood Risk Resilience in USA

Abstract: The accuracy of flood risk perception surveys may be limited by human error, leading to potential inaccuracies in evaluating the vulnerability and resilience of communities and regions. Numerous models exist for assessing the flood resilience of a community or place, with identifying the panarchy hierarchical adaptive cycles approach and the disaster resilience of place (DROP) model as the most comprehensive to identify flood risk of a place. The study will provide a comprehensive and objective assessment of flood risk resilience at a household level. This approach will enable a more nuanced and context-specific understanding of the complex interactions between flooding and place, regardless of indigenous perceptions.
