Wi-Fi

To connect to the UA-Guest wireless network follow the instructions below.

  1. Visit your device’s network settings.
  2. From the list of available networks, choose UA-Guest.
  3. Once connected, you will be directed to a sign in page.  If you are not automatically prompted to sign in, please open a web browser and visit a website that you do not normally visit. This will prompt your browser to establish a connection and direct to the sign in page.
  4. Choose Request a Guest Account.
  5. Complete the required fields. Please note that the guest network only accepts non-UA email addresses.
  6. Your email address serves as your username. You will receive a text message with your password.
  7. Go back to your device’s network settings, select UA-Guest, then enter your username and password to connect.

Parking

Parking is available at both the Capstone Parking Deck and John England Hall Parking

Note that if you already have a UA Faculty/Staff Green Permit, a Southeast Commuter Permit, or a Patron Pass you only need to ensure that the hang tag is hanging from the rearview mirror of your vehicle. It will be automatically scanned to allow entry and exit.

Bryant Conference Center Parking

Parking for the Bryant Conference Center is available at the Capstone Parking Deck. You will need the below code to enter and exit.

John England Hall Parking

The NOAA Track sessions on Day 4 will be hosted at John H. England Jr. Hall. Parking will be available at the Student Center Parking Deck. You will need the below code to enter and exit.

Smart Communities Innovation Building Parking

The USGS Track sessions on Day 4 will be hosted at the Smart Communities Innovation Building (SCIB). Parking will be available in the Hydrological Instrumentation Facility Parking Lot.

Additional parking will be available in the Cyber Hall Parking Lot, 24 Kirkbride Lane Tuscaloosa, AL 35401. No code is needed for either parking lot.
