Title: River Flood Mapping and Validation Using Observational Data

Abstract: Flooding is a devastating natural disaster that causes widespread casualties and financial losses. Its impacts are felt by a significant portion of the global population, either directly or indirectly. As a result, effective flood risk management and disaster response planning are crucial. To achieve this, accurate prediction of flood events is necessary. In this study, hydrodynamic models were employed for flood mapping, and the accuracy of the model was verified using observational data from historical floods. Statistical methods were applied to validate the model, ensuring its reliability and usefulness in predicting and mitigating future flood events.
